The concept of the Patanjali Food and Herbal Park at Padartha Haridwar is the result of initiative of Acharya Balkrishna Ji and the Ministry of Food Processing Industry, Govt. of India under Mega food park scheme, the MOFPI, Govt. of India.

The major objective is to provide a growth stimulus to the rural economy by creating a demand for their conventional and nonconventional produce as also to meet the growing demand for quality based products in the urban world.

It is India’s first and foremost food park is the result of his vision. It has world class machineries for production of food products that further aimed at establishing direct linkages from the farm to processing and on to the consumer markets, through anefficient network. It produces more than 100 different food and herbal products with a capacity of about 1500 tones of production per day of fruit juices, and other herbal drinks, sherbets, etc. along with other herbal products such as Ayurvedic medicines, edibles, etc.
