The Trust was founded on 5th January, 1995 with the mission to serve mankind by achieving complete eradication of all the sorrows, physical illness and to generate mental peace, attainment of bliss received from our ancestral sages in the form of Ayurveda, Ashtang Yog, Raj Yog, Dhyan Yog, Hath Yog, Aasan and Pranayam etc. To achieve this aim various units Divya Pharmacy, Divya Prakashan, Divya Yoga Sadhana, Divya Gaushala & Divya Nursery and Ayurvedic College are providing services in his benevolent guidance.
The Journey of Divya Prakashan started, under the energetic leadership of Acharya Balkrishna ji with the objective of provide quality literature about Yoga, Ayurveda, herbs and medicinal plants, spirituality, diseases and their natural remedies and to serve the mankind.
The advanced publication unit, publishing standard books on Yoga, Ayurveda, herbs and medicinal plants, diseases and their natural remedies, spirituality, refinement, patriotism, philosophy, etc. in Hindi, English and other Indian languages is established.
Divya Yoga Sadhana
Manufacturing and distributing of audio-video visuals like DVD’s, MP-3, VCD’s cassettes in Hindi, English and other Indian languages, concerning Yoga therapies, Ayurveda, Sacred chants and religious music, Devotional and Patriotic songs, etc.
Two gaushalas (cowsheds) have been constructed under the trust where high breed cows are reared to obtain valuable cow products used as medicine.
A Gaushala has been established at Gurukul Gaushala Farm where about 500 cows of like, Rathi, Sahiwal, Red Sindhi, Hariana, Tharparkar, Gir etc. are being reared. The mission for the preservation, improvisation and manufacture of Ayurvedic Products requires cow milk, cow urine, dung etc. The dung obtained from Gaushala is being used as compost manure or bio-technical manure so that the organic food grains, fruits, vegetables, milk can be obtained. Biogas is being produced from dung with which the daily needs of ashram are being fulfilled. The domestic breed of these cattle like Rathi, Sahiwal, Red Sindhi, Hariana, Tharparkar, Gir are being used to increase the cattle breed so that the cows can be respected and protected. The Gaushala has been made in about 50 Acres area. A big size biogas plant waste converting machine, urine distillation units are also available on the farm. The units for utilizing bullock power and Panchgavya Research & Training Centre have also been started at Gaushala Farm.
The mission for the preservation, improvisation and manufacture of medicines requires cow milk, cow urine, dung, and the mission to preserve the Indian breed of cattle for the service of cow and protect its breed, is going since long time in the ashram. Now in trust this is being given a broader look, in which thousands of cows will be taken care of. The dung obtained from this will be used as compost manure or bio-technical manure so that the food grains, fruits, vegetables, milk can be available which would be free of chemical fertilizers. Biogas will be manufactured from dung with which the daily needs of ashram will be fulfilled. The domestic breed of these cattle will be used to increase the cattle breed so that the cows can be respected and protected.
Divya Nursery has been established nearby Patanjali Yogpeeth at Maharishi Dayanand Gram. This Nursery has beautiful collection of more than 900 medicinal herbs, shrubs, trees, climbers and ornamental plants. Since, 1997 it was a great effort with high spirit to collect the valuable medicinal plant. Thereafter, to explore more possibilities of a large number of wide collections, exposition and research of medicinal, aromatic and ornamental plants in an organized way in the Divya nursery has been established.
To popularize the knowledge of Ayurveda among future generations and to conserve commonly available medicinal plants Divya Nursery was established. Nursery near Patanjali phase- I. To explore possibilities of a large number of wide collections, exposition and research on medicinal, aromatic and ornamental plants in an organized way the Patanjali Herbal garden has recently been reorganized and reconstructed for the benefit of scientific community as well as for the general masses. A team of scientists from the field of Botany, Ayurveda and Agriculture are engaged in the research and development work here.
There are about 300 species of herbs, 175 species of shrubs, 50 species of climbers, 25 species of aquatic and about 350 species of trees are present in this Herbal garden. There are 5 Artificial caves present in the garden which provides favorable environment for the growth of bryophytes, pteridophytes and orchids. Some caves display the basic knowledge of Ayurveda through beautiful sculptures, depicting how our ancestors were preparing Ayurvedic medicine like churns, vatis, asavas and bhasmas etc. It also displays different Yogasanas, Pranayams and mudras through similar sculptures.
There is a beautiful Nav Graham Vatika. It displays 9 plants related with the concerned planet There is also a beautiful Rashi (Zodiac sign) vatika and Nakshatra vatika. The Rashi vatika contains 12 plants according to their Zodiac sign and Nakshatra vatika contains 28 plants according to their Naskshatra sign. There are seven artificial fountains and one beautiful pond which provides suitable climatic conditions for aquatic plants like Trapa natans L. (singhada), Nymphaea nouchali burm.f. (kamal), Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn., Nymphoides indica (L.) Kuntze (Tagar), Ceratophyllum demersum L., Pistia statiotes L., Typha angustifolia L. (Pater) etc. There is a large Bird house with different varieties of birds and rare plants around a small pond and waterfall which provides natural environment to the bird. Visitors can pass through this bird house by a hanging and will enjoy the natural beauty surrounding them.
Herbal garden provides green saplings of medicinal plants propagated in our nursery throughout the year by our experts and these plants are available for sale for general public from nursery at very reasonable price.
